This notice covers sahan-udana.com. The AI workspace processes conversations separately from website analytics and forms. Its operator, hosting infrastructure, selected model providers and configured integrations may process chat data. Review the project’s data-flow explanation before use; this experimental workspace is not validated for confidential material.
Newsletter registrations
When you register interest, the website stores your email address, optional name and company, consent wording, registration time and the page you registered from. Email delivery is not connected yet, so no confirmation email or newsletter is sent. Registrations are unverified until reviewed; they do not prove ownership of an email address.
Only register your own address. Sahan can review registrations in a protected dashboard. Before newsletter delivery starts, the sending service and unsubscribe process will be explained.
Feedback
We store your rating, comment, submission time, page reference and optional reply email. Feedback is for Sahan to review and is not published automatically. Chat histories and files are not attached.
Optional website analytics
Analytics runs only if you choose Allow analytics. It measures page views, approximate daily visitors, referring website, device category and approximate country. The server uses the network address briefly to estimate country locally and generate a daily changing identifier. Raw network addresses and full browser identifiers are not written to the analytics database. Full page query strings and referring-page paths are not collected. Selected campaign labels (utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign), active article time, scroll milestones and newsletter/contact/workspace actions are measured after analytics consent. Campaign labels persist within the current browser tab and must not contain personal information. Engagement events are not linked to subscriber identities or chat accounts.
These are estimates: shared networks, VPNs, blockers and daily identifier changes affect the figures. Analytics is not linked to subscriber emails, feedback or chat accounts. Country lookup data is supplied by DB-IP under CC BY 4.0; coverage and accuracy vary.
Your analytics choice is stored in your browser for six months. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected. .
Storage and access
Website records are stored on the DigitalOcean hosting environment and are accessible to the site operator and authorised server administrators. Service providers may process connection information needed to deliver the website. Self-hosting is not a promise of zero access or zero risk.
Analytics records are retained for up to 90 days. Feedback and unverified newsletter registrations are retained for up to 12 months, unless removed earlier. Copies in operational backups are retained separately and must also be covered by the backup retention process.
Removal and questions
Contact Sahan on LinkedIn to request removal of a registration or feedback, or ask about data handling. Provide only the information needed to identify your request. Admin sign-in uses a necessary session cookie that expires after eight hours.
